The Needle is a quest reward from Saradomin upon completing the tutorial. It is wielded in the main hand.
The needle is an Elder artefact that seems to have something to do with the creation of Sally, and resided in or on White Wolf Mountain until she claimed it.
Unlike other mortal quest rewards, The Needle is not lost upon resetting the world.
